I’ve always been interested in reading and dabbled in writing a few short stories but it never went anywhere. Approximately 10 years ago I went to a warm climate for two months and took my pad of ideas and notes from when I was a Doctor’s Receptionist and started writing my story idea in Majorca. It’s taken me another ten years to get it published. “Really?” I hear you say. Yeah, life got in the way! But now it’s finally here and I can’t wait to tell you a little bit about the characters who work at Hillside Surgery.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to work on Elsie Clark’s book, ‘Sorry, I’m Not Medically Trained’. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Something different for a change. It was a lovely story about ordinary people, doing ordinary things in a more often than not hilarious way. The characters were unforgettable and very relatable. I hope there’s a Book 2 in the pipeline.
